Every year in the month of December Keller Williams agents pick a project or place to give to. In the years past we have given Christmas dinner and gifts to a few local families. This year, we decided to put up an Angel tree in the office and decorate it with names of kids from St John Home and below their name was their wish list.

We have gotten to know St John pretty well this year, and they have become near and dear to our hearts. (If you read earlier blogs and can see some of our actives with them this year).

Agents picked an Angel card and went shopping. Judy Brasseur and Mary Buckius organized this project for the office. Gathered all the gifts donated by agents and went shopping for additional items, then delivered them to the home.

This is all done through the non-profit Keller Williams Realty of Grand Rapids has established - KW Outreach. Many agents donate a portion of their commission checks to KW Outreach, so we have the funds to really reach out to a community that has supported us. However these funds are not just used to reach out to the community, but to help a KW agent who may need it. It is not all business and sales – or maybe it is just good business to help others!
